The Lebanese Hezbollah announced today, Wednesday, that it confronted two Zionist drones and forced them to leave Lebanese airspace, while confirming that it targeted a gathering of Zionist enemy soldiers in Wadi Hunin with a missile salvo.
A statement by Hezbollah received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): stated that "in support of our steadfast Palestinian people in Gaza Strip and in support of their valiant and honorable resistance, and in defense of Lebanon and its people, the Islamic Resistance fighters in the air defense units confronted two Zionist drones in the southern airspace at 6:30 pm on Wednesday 10-16-2024 with surface-to-air missiles, forcing them to retreat and leave Lebanese airspace.
In a separate statement, Hezbollah confirmed that "the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted a gathering of Zionist enemy soldiers in Wadi Hunin with a missile salvo at 6:55 pm on Wednesday 10-16-2024."
