The Security Media Cell announced, today, Wednesday, the arrest of two terrorists in the governorates of Sulaymaniyah and Salah al-Din.
The cell said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "In continuation of the relentless efforts of the heroes of the Counter-Terrorism Service in tracking down ISIS terrorist gangs, the Counter-Terrorism Service carried out a series of operations in various areas, as the service's units - in coordination with the Operations Directorate of the Kurdistan Region's Asayish Service - arrested a terrorist in Sulaymaniyah Governorate.".
The statement added that "the brave men of the service in a qualitative operation were able to arrest a terrorist in Salah al-Din Governorate."
It continued, "As part of the search and purification operations of ISIS terrorist hideouts, the heroes of the Counter-Terrorism Service detonated a group of launcher missiles and explosive materials in Anbar Governorate, south of Rutba desert," stressing that "the qualitative operations of our security forces are continuing at a high pace to eliminate the remaining remnants of ISIS gangs in every inch of our land."
