Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani concluded his visit to Diyala Governorate today, Wednesday, and returned to the capital, Baghdad.
The Prime Minister's media office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani concluded his visit to Diyala Governorate and returned to Baghdad, which included the following:
Inauguration of the Baghdad-Al-Khalis Road, as part of the Baghdad-Kirkuk Road Rehabilitation and Maintenance Project.
Monitoring the execution progress of the Al-Khalis Sewerage Project.
Field follow-up on the second phase of the West Baqubah Sewerage Project.
Field visit to the Australian Hospital Project in East Baqubah, with a capacity of 400 beds.
Chairing a meeting with the heads of service departments in Diyala Province.
Announcement of new projects in several districts and sub-districts in Diyala, as follows:
Execution of 99 schools throughout Diyala, funded by the Iraq Development Fund.
Sewerage project in Al-Muqdadiya District.
Sewerage project in the center of Balad Ruz District.
Sewerage project in Jalawla.
Sewerage project in Khanaqin District.
Sewerage project in Bani Saad.
Sewerage project in Kanaan.
Chairing a meeting with the Diyala Governor, members of the Diyala Provincial Council, and MPs representing Diyala.
Meeting with tribal sheikhs and dignitaries from Diyala Province.
Chairing a meeting of military and security commanders in Diyala Province.
