JOC: ISIS so-called Wali of Salahuddin killed in airstrike yesterday

    The Joint Operations Command (JOC)announced today, Tuesday, the killing of the so-called Wali of Salahuddin for ISIS in an airstrike yesterday.
     
    The command said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Following the statement regarding yesterday's airstrikes in the Al-Aith area in the Salah al-Din sector, which targeted a terrorist detachment's hideout, a force went out at 5:00 today from the Salah al-Din Operations Command detachments, a reconnaissance battalion, and military intelligence detachments in the command, under the supervision of the operations commander, to search and inspect the targeted location, and found 4 bodies of ISIS terrorists completely torn apart as a result of the accuracy of the airstrikes, including the body of the terrorist called (Abu Omar al-Quraishi), the so-called Wali of Salah al-Din."
     
     
    The statement added, "Three explosive belts, a number of different weapons, a set of night vision goggles, a large number of hand grenades, various technical materials including 8 mobile phones, and a quantity of logistical and administrative materials belonging to the terrorist squad that was killed during this operation were also found."
     
    It added that "the force carrying out the duty found another terrorist hideout at a distance from the first targeted hideout, and the security forces worked to completely destroy it, and the operation is still ongoing."
     
     The command confirmed, according to the statement, that "the security forces are carrying out the tasks to achieve their goals accurately, and they are continuing with the duties and qualitative tasks to exact just retribution from the remnants of the defeated ISIS terrorist gangs."
