The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon announced, today, Wednesday, the destruction of three Merkava tanks with guided missiles while advancing to the town of Maroun al-Ras.
Hezbollah said in a statement that it "destroyed three Zionist Merkava tanks with guided missiles as they advanced towards the town of Maroun al-Ras."
The Zionist entity's army announced on Wednesday that eight officers were killed and seven others were wounded during the battles taking place in southern Lebanon.
Media outlets quoted the Zionist army as saying that "eight officers were killed and seven others were wounded, two of them seriously."
They indicated that "three officers with the rank of major and two with the rank of captain were among those killed during the battles in southern Lebanon," suggesting that "Hezbollah elements opened fire at the soldiers from close range, which led to this number of deaths."
