The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) granted the Iraqi Football Association professional-level membership, today, Thursday, under the training agreement.
A statement by the Federation quoted the head of the Technical and Development Committee/Agency, Wasam Najib Saliwa - and received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) - as saying: "The Asian Football Confederation granted the Iraqi Federation professional level membership under the Asian Training Agreement, which is an announcement that grants the Iraqi Football Federation the right to organize Asian training courses (PRO, A, B, C).".
Saliwa added, "The Technical and Development Committee/Coach Education and Development Department in the Iraqi Football Federation has fulfilled all the conditions and requirements for the training course curricula, as well as the process of developing coaches and lecturers."
