The Board of Commissioners of the Media and Communications Commission called on Tuesday on media institutions and TV channels to observe the rules of media conduct.
They called, during its regular session held today on media institutions and TV channels to observe the rules of media conduct and refrain from hosting figures who justify the crimes committed by the Zionist aggression against the Lebanese and Palestinian peoples," said the Board of Commissioners of the Media and Communications Commission in a statement - received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
"These institutions are necessary to adhere to professional standards in conveying what the Zionist entity is doing in targeting innocent and safe civilians using internationally prohibited means," included in the statement.
The Board of Commissioners expressed the "denunciation of the aggression launched by the Zionist evil machine, appreciating the position of the Iraqi government and political forces in supporting the Lebanese people and backing them through urgent relief campaigns with food and medicine as well as supporting the Lebanese people and backing them in this conflict through television programs and reports that reveal the crimes of the entity against the Arab peoples.
The Board referred to the statement of the office of the Supreme Religious Authority in Najaf, which condemned the attacks of the Israeli aggression with brutal methods, including the bombing of a large number of personal communication devices and targeting homes crowded with citizens, including women and children.
They affirmed the continued support for the brotherly Lebanese people while calling on the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibilities to stop this brutal aggression against the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples.
