Lebanese Health Minister Firas Abiad announced on Tuesday, the martyrdom of 558 citizens, including (50) children.
Al-Abyad said in a press conference followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The number of martyrs so far has reached 558 martyrs, including (50) children and (94) women," noting that "1835 wounded have been recorded, in addition to the attack on 54 hospitals."
He added that "some of the wounded have passed the danger stage and left the hospitals," indicating: "We support the health sector through a rapid plan that includes supporting hospitals and providing financial dues in coordination with the Ministry of Finance."
Al-Abyad pointed out that "emergency plans were put in place due to the Zionist aggression," noting that "hospitals worked 24 hours a day, with great effort, to treat the wounded."
