Interior Ministry announces the arrest of (6) accused of smuggling petroleum products in various areas

The Ministry of Interior announced on Tuesday, the arrest of 6 people accused of smuggling petroleum products in several governorates.
A statement by the ministry received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that "detachments of the first, second, fourth and sixth energy police brigades in Nineveh, Anbar, Wasit and Karbala managed to arrest (6) suspects of smuggling petroleum products and seize (5) vehicles for several violations."
The statement added that "the suspects were placed in detention and the vehicles were seized to complete the investigations in accordance with Law No. (41) of (2008) on combating the smuggling of oil and its derivatives."
