9 Daesh terrorist remains arrested in Salah al-Din

INA - BAGHDAD

The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency - FIIA announced on Saturday the arrest of 9 terrorists from Daesh remains in Salah al-Din, Iraq.

"With separate operations, high-level in addition to field planning and follow-up, the detachments of the Agency related to counterterrorism in Salah al-Din managed to arrest 9 wanted, according to Article Fourth of the counterterrorism Law, by the fundamental judicial arrest warrants, said the Agency in a statement - received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

The statement included, "When investigating them, they explicitly confessed to their affiliation with the remains of Daesh, and they carried out many terrorist attacks in Salah al-Din Governorate and its outskirts earlier."
