The Iraqi Federation of Cars and Motorcycles held its supplementary elections today, Saturday, to complete the contract of its administrative body, which was held in the Al-Alawiya Club Hall in the capital, Baghdad.
A statement by the Federation of the Game - received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) - said: "The elections were conducted with complete transparency and with wide participation from the Federation's General Authority of clubs and academies, and resulted in the victory of members Adel Abdullah Ahmed, Ali Abdul Nabi Jaber, Ali Qasim Hashem and Manar Walid Hussein, who gained confidence to be members of the Federation."
The statement continued, "On the sidelines of the elections, the Federation honored a number of champions and pioneers who contributed and achieved achievements in external championships at the level of cars and motorcycles, especially in the 2024 competitions, and won medals and numbers in the name of Iraq at the internal and external levels."
According to the statement, the Vice President of the Federation, Muhammad Al-Obaidi, expressed his "happiness with the new names that the ballot boxes produced that will join the Federation, congratulating everyone on the occasion of the victory."
He stressed that "the next phase will witness serious work and a qualitative leap in Motorsports in Iraq amid ambitions to make the land of the two rivers among the advanced countries in all activities and requires everyone to cooperate and unite to raise the name of Iraq high and honor it in continental and international events."
