Lebanon called on the Security Council on Wednesday to hold an urgent session to discuss the explosion of communication devices.

    Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati said: "He called for an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council to discuss the explosion of communication devices in Lebanon."
     
    He added that "the Zionist enemy is violates all international laws," indicating that "the government will do everything in its power to prevent war and secure peace."
     
    The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday that more than 100 people were injured in the initial toll of the explosions that targeted wireless devices.
     
    The ministry stated that "the initial toll of the new explosions that targeted wireless devices is that more than 100 people were injured."
