Iraq sends second batch of medical aid to Lebanon

    The Security Media Cell (SMC) announced on Wednesday, the sending of the second batch of medical aid to Lebanon.
     
    The head of the Security Media Cell, Major General Tahseen Al-Khafaji, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "We have started transporting 40 tons of special medical supplies provided by the Popular Mobilization Forces(PMF) to Lebanon."
     
    He added that "the aid was sent from last night until this morning," stressing "continuing work and sending aid planes."
     
    He said, "Under the guidance of the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, there is a medical staff that will accompany these shipment, and they will  diagnose cases of injured people  that need treatment and transfer them to Iraq."
