The Ministry of Transport announced on Tuesday launching a new application for smartphones.
"The application aims to facilitate the travel experience for travelers on board the Green Bird and to provide innovative services around the clock, in line with the directives of the Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhaibis Al-Saadawi," said the Ministry's media office in a statement - received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
The statement included that "launching the new application via smartphones aims to facilitate the travel experience on board the Green Bird. This application is one of the services that the ministry is keen to implement."
The new application, which was completed by the efforts of the company's staff from the (Commercial and IT) departments, will allow travelers to book tickets and manage reservations easily, as well as the ability to move to the lost baggage service in cooperation with the electronic platform of Ur, in addition to helping customers to always be informed of the latest developments and offers for the national carrier's flights.
According to the statement, "The application is now available for download via iOS and Android platforms to be a constant companion for travelers on their trips inside and outside Iraq."
