Junior handball team defeats Emirati counterpart in Asian Championship

    The Handball Federation announced, today, Thursday, the victory of the national junior team over its Emirati counterpart in the Asian Championship.

    The Handball Federation stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "within the matches of the Asian Junior Championship held in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, our national handball team achieved a great victory over the UAE team in the ranking rounds with a score of 31-22 goals.".

    The Federation added that "our junior team star Ali Raad was chosen as the best player in the match."
