President Rashid emphasizes the need to accelerate steps for economic and service revival in Kirkuk

The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, emphasized ton Monday, the necessity of activating and expediting the required steps to revitalize the economic and service situation in Kirkuk Governorate.
 
According to a statement from the Presidency of the Republic, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid received today in the Baghdad Palace the Governor of Kirkuk, Ribwar Talabani."
 The statement indicated that "the meeting addressed the latest developments in Kirkuk at the security, economic, and service levels."
 
The President reiterated, according to the statement, the "importance of Kirkuk and its uniqueness, and the necessity of promoting brotherhood and peace among its diverse components."
 
He stressed the "need to activate and expedite the necessary steps to revitalize the economic and service situation in Kirkuk," affirming his "support for the legitimate demands of its residents in terms of security, services, and development."

 

For his part,  Governer Ribwar Talabani expressed his "gratitude and appreciation for the directives and attention of the President," affirming his commitment to "make every possible effort to serve the people of Kirkuk and all its components."
