The House of Representatives ended its discussion of the proposed amendment to the Personal Status Law today, Monday.
The media department of the Council of Representatives said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The Council of Representatives has completed the report and discussion of the proposed law to amend the Personal Status Law No. (188) of 1959, Articles 2 and 10."
Earlier today, Monday, the House of Representatives held its session headed by the Acting Speaker of the Council, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi.
The media department of the Council stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "The Acting Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, opened the work of Session No. (10), with the attendance of 180 representatives."
