The Chief Justice of the Federal Supreme Court, Judge Jassim Mohammed Abboud, arrived in Armenia today, Saturday, on an official visit.
A statement by the Federal Court received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that "the President of the Federal Supreme Court, Judge Jassim Mohammed Abboud, arrived in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, on an official visit in response to an invitation from the President of the Armenian Constitutional Court, Arman Dilanyan."
The statement added that "a workshop will be held during the visit with the participation of representatives of the Supreme Courts in both the Republic of Iraq and the Republic of Armenia."
It pointed out that "during the visit, a memorandum of cooperation will be signed between the Federal Supreme Court of the Republic of Iraq and the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Armenia, and meetings will be held with a number of senior officials in the Republic of Armenia."
