The Ministerial Council for Economy announced today, Friday, that it will hold its next session in the Kurdistan Region.
The media office of the council stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): that "under the direction of the Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Ministerial Council for Economy, Fuad Hussein, the council decided to hold its next session in the Kurdistan Region," noting that "the delegation of the Ministerial Council for Economy is scheduled to leave, accompanied by a large number of officials from the federal government, tomorrow, Saturday, to Erbil to hold a series of meetings with the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, members of his government, and some officials in the region."
According to the statement "the council and the accompanying delegation will discuss common issues with the Kurdistan Regional Government and work to resolve outstanding issues; with the aim of removing obstacles to the implementation of some important files, in a way that achieves the interest of the Iraqi citizen in general."
