The Border Forces Command announced today, Wednesday, the arrest of an accused person in possession of (22) bank cards loaded with sums of money prepared for smuggling in Trebil.
The command said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "In continuation of the efforts of the Border Forces Command to arrest attempts to smuggle currency, the detachments of the Trebil Customs Police Station, affiliated with the Second Region Customs Police Directorate, seized an accused in possession of (22) different types of bank cards prepared for smuggling."
It added, "A formal seizure report was prepared and the seized items were referred to the competent authorities."
