Source: Money stolen from Tax Guarantees amounts to three trillion and more than 800 billion dinars

An official source revealed on Monday the total amount of theft of tax guarantees, while pointing to the sending of those involved in facilitating the instruments behind bars.   
 
The source told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The total amount of theft of tax guarantees amounts to 3 trillion, 800 billion and 57 million dinars."
 
  "This amount was stolen through checks from the bank account with banks and belonged to various foreign companies," he said.
 
"All the names that facilitated the process of drafting the instruments within the tax authority have been arrested and are now in prison," he said, noting that a Chinese company among the companies that were depositing tax deposits confirmed that they were not granted any transfer letters that allow the withdrawal of these amounts.
 
  The head of the Integrity Commission, Haider Hanoun, confirmed earlier that the Ministry of Finance and the General Tax Authority provided us with the size of the amounts of theft of the century, noting that the theft of the century contains with it "the head of corruption”.
