A formal welcome ceremony was held this Tuesday morning for Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani in the Egyptian city of El-Alamein.
The Media Office of the Prime Minister said in a statement, received by The Iraqi News Agency-INA that “Prime Minister Al-Sudani was received by the Prime Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Mr. Mostafa Madbouly. The reception ceremony included playing the national anthems of Iraq and Egypt and the inspection of the guard of honor.”
The statement also noted that “Prime Minister Al-Sudani is scheduled to meet with Egyptian President Mr. Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to discuss overall bilateral relations between the two countries and the latest international developments in the region. He will also hold extensive talks with his Egyptian counterpart to strengthen cooperation in various fields and sectors’.
