The number of Arbaeen pilgrims arriving in the country has reached 3 million, 445 thousand, and 627 since the first of Safar, which corresponds to August 6, until yesterday, which corresponds to the 20th of Safar, which corresponds to August 25. This information was provided to the Iraqi News Agency (INA) by the Commission's spokesman, Alaa Al-Din Al-Qaisi.
He added that "the number of foreign pilgrims departing during the above period amounted to two million and 807 thousand and 148 pilgrims," pointing out that "this was done through the ports of Safwan, Shalamjah, Al-Sheeb, Zarbatiya, Al-Manthariyah, Al-Qaim, Baghdad Airport, Najaf Airport, Haj Omran and Bashmaq."
