The Arbaeen Visit Service Committee revealed, today, Friday, the most prominent service projects provided during the Arbaeen visit, while announcing the launch of 24 strategic projects for the million-person visits.
The head of the committee, Razzaq Al-Yaqoubi, said in a press conference attended by the correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA):that "Prime Minister Mohammad Shia Al-Sudani, after the end of the Arbaeen visit last year, directed the formation of an operations center entitled the Million-Visit Committee, from which several strategic projects emerged," noting that "the holy Karbala Governorate witnessed the launch of 24 projects, six temporary projects of which were completed, and these projects will be rehabilitated after the visit."
He added, "Among these projects is the train between the holy Karbala and the holy Najaf, air-conditioned pedestrian bridges and, and two-story squares."
He explained that "before the visit began, the (Diwani Order) Committee was formed, which consists of several ministries, the Popular Mobilization Authority, and the governorates witnessing the visit, and work was done as one team, whether in the process of organizing transportation and providing the processions and supporting vehicles, whether from the Ministry of Electricity and Oil and the Ministry of Health, which provided the processions with 1,200 ambulances and other ministries."
