The First Karkh Investigative Court announced on Saturday the successful dismantling of the largest drug trafficking network operating in Baghdad.
In an official statement issued by the Supreme Judicial Council and received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), it was reported that the operation resulted in the seizure of 221 kilograms of Captagon pills.
The statement further indicated that the operation was executed by the Karkh Directorate of Narcotics Affairs pursuant to a judicial order, leading to the apprehension of ten individuals, including several foreign nationals, who were involved in the illicit trade.
