The president of the Supreme Judicial Council Faiq Zidan, met on Tuesday, with the Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to Iraq, Mr. Arturo Aníbal Gallegos Ramírez, to discuss the potential for establishing formal judicial relations between the two nations.
The Supreme Judicial Council, in a statement provided to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), noted that "Judge Faiq Zidan hosted Ambassador Arturo Aníbal Kaikus to deliberate on the possibility of formalizing judicial cooperation between Iraq and Venezuela."
The statement further revealed that "the discussions focused on exploring the establishment of bilateral judicial frameworks to enhance legal collaboration between the two countries."
