The President of Republic, Barham Salih, discussed, on Monday, with the Venezuelan Ambassador, Arturo Anibal Ramirez the bilateral relations between the two countries.
“The President of Republic, Barham Salih, received at Al-Salam Palace in Baghdad, the Ambassador of the Republic of Venezuela, Arturo Anibal Ramirez,” the Media Office of the Presidency of Republic stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
The statement added that "The two sides discussed during the meeting, the bilateral relations that bring the two countries together, and ways to strengthen them in various fields in a way that achieves the mutual interests of the two peoples, and developments on regional and international arena of common interest."
Ambassador Arturo Anibal Ramirez affirmed his country's commitment to supporting the security and stability of Iraq and strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
