Iraq’s Ministry of Oil denied, on Sunday, the entry of contaminated benzene to Baghdad.
Director General of Oil Pipes Lines company, Dawood Salem denied in a statement, which INA received a copy of, the entrance of trucks carrying contaminated benzene to Baghdad coming from Kar refinery in Erbil, adding that the Company doesn’t allow the main oil depots in Baghdad’s Kerkh and Russafa,or other provinces, to load or discharge the trucks of benzene or other oil products, that are not in accordance to world standards.
