Lebanese Parliament member Samer Al-Toum confirmed today, Wednesday, that the Zionist entity failed in the field confrontation and did not impose any control over Lebanese territory.
Al-Toum said in a statement to IMN - followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The Zionist entity did not achieve any breach on the ground or penetration into Lebanese territory and failed in the field confrontation, and is only intensifying its attacks through air targeting of civilians," noting that "there is no Zionist control over Lebanese territory."
He added, "There is an international movement to stop the Zionist aggression, but the head of the entity's government, Benjamin Netanyahu, rejects it," indicating that "we do not accept any amendment to Resolution 1701."
He continued, "The Zionist aggression on Lebanon must be stopped and Resolution 1701 must be implemented," explaining that "there is no political party in Lebanon that rejects the implementation of Resolution 1701."
