Nine terrorists, including seven suicide bombers, were killed by JOC north of Rutba

    "In accordance with the sound and continuous directives of the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, the Counter-Terrorism Service carried out a successful qualitative landing operation, and then a heroic clash in the desert area (Kaara) north of the Rutba district in Anbar province," the command said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
     
     "During the operation, the Service forces were able to kill 9 terrorists, including 7 suicide bombers, and destroy their weapons, equipment and technical and logistical equipment," the Command said.   
     
    "This rapid and distinguished operation came with air and technical support from the international coalition, in coordination with the Joint Operations Command," the Command said, noting that "this operation is still ongoing to search the entire area."  
     
    The Command stressed that "the heroes of Iraq swore to end terrorism, and that they will not leave it remaining on the land of holy sites, and that good omens continue to follow Iraq, thanks to Allah, and with the vigor of the brave who have dedicated themselves to this country."
