Iraq welcomes UN statement on Yemeni parties’ de-escalating measures

    The Foreign Ministry expresses the Republic of Iraq’s welcoming of the statement issued by the Office of the United Nations Special Envoy of the Secretary-General for Yemen, Hans Grundberg, regarding the agreement of the Yemeni parties on the measures to de-escalate concerning the banking sector and Yemeni Airlines.
     
    The Ministry said in a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency-INA that “The Ministry affirms its full support for the efforts aimed at achieving peace and security, to meet the aspirations of the brotherly Yemeni people.”
