Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi discussed with King of Jordan Abdullah the joint relations between the two countries and the situation in the region.
The two sides discussed the joint relations between the two countries and the situation in the region and agreed to intensify the exchange of visits at the highest levels to develop fraternal relations between the two countries, the statement said.The King renewed congratulations to the Prime Minister on his assumption of the presidency of the Iraqi government and its accelerated efforts to strengthen the state of security and stability and develop the Iraqi economy and serve all the Iraqi people."
The Jordanian monarch also expressed his appreciation for the keenness of the Prime Minister to expand the horizons of cooperation and strengthen the brotherly relations between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples
