FIFA President Gianni Infantino congratulated the Iraqi Federation on the occasion of the Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya Football Club women’s team winning the Iraq Stars League for the 2023 - 2024 season.

“The President of the Iraqi Football Association, Adnan Darjal, received a message from Infantino, on the occasion of the Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya Club women’s team winning the Iraq Stars League,” according to a statement by the Football Association, received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA. 

Infantino expressed his "thanks to Darjal and the Football Association for their continued support, work and dedication to developing women’s football in Iraq," stating, “I look forward to seeing you again soon.”

"With this message, I am pleased to congratulate the champions of Iraq, Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya," he included, highlighting, "their continuous efforts and results throughout the season have paid off, leading to achieving the important title."

Infantino concluded, saying: “Congratulations to all members of the team and the club for this great achievement.”
