Minister of Immigration and Displacement, Ivan Faiq Jabru, announced today, Thursday, the return of about 900 displaced people from the last camps in Sulaymaniyah to their original areas.
The Ministry of Immigration and Displacement said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “Jabro announced the return of (872) displaced people from (Ashti) camp, the last camp in Sulaymaniyah Governorate, to their original residential areas in Yathrib district in Salah al-Din Governorate and Sinjar district in Nineveh Governorate.”
She added, "Based on the minister's directives, the ministry's staff delivered the financial grant instruments amounting to four million dinars, in addition to durable goods (plasma screen, cooker, refrigerator) and relief materials to the returning families."
