Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim, the head of the National Wisdom Movement, emphasized on Friday the value of the development road and how it contributes to the growth of Al-Muthana Governorate. He also urged service providers to invest in promoting community harmony, political stability, and security.
"We met with the Governor of Muthana, Muhannad Al-Attabi, the Chairman and members of the Provincial Council, and a number of officials and security leaders, and we explained the importance of local governments and cited the percentages of their achievements," Sayyid Al-Hakim said in a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
Al-Hakim emphasized the need for cooperation and conflict avoidance, as well as the provision of services and the presence of coordination framework forces in local governments. He also praised Al-Muthanna's investment environment and its ability to create a suitable atmosphere that attracted investors.
He called for attention to strategic projects, highlighting the significance of the development road and its contribution to the development of Al-Muthana Governorate, and cautioned against letting the drop in oil prices depress future prospects.
Al-Hakim went on to say that we emphasized the need to differentiate between drug dealers and users and the frightening proliferation of drugs, stating that this is a major challenge that everyone must confront. He also called for "investing in political and security calm and community harmony by providing services."
He concluded by stating that our visit to Al-Muthanna is part of our larger plan to interact with our people living in the governorates, assess the state of the governorate, and help find solutions to its issues.
