Al-Sudani Meets with Babil's Parliament Members and Provincial Council Members

    Al-Sudani met this Thursday evening with the members of Parliament from Babil province and the head and members of the provincial council, as part of his visit to the province which he arrived at earlier this morning.

    The Prime Minister's Media Office stated in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani met with representatives and members of the Babil Governorate Council."

    During the meeting, the Prime Minister emphasized the cultural significance and historical heritage of Babil, noting its role in cultural events and tourism activities. He reiterated that citizens are anticipating the progress of service projects, a responsibility shared by both the federal and local governments.

    Prime Minister Al-Sudani stated that the planned projects for the province require collaborative efforts and a unified team spirit. He urged the Parliament and the provincial council to fulfill their supervisory and legislative roles in alignment with the infrastructure needs outlined in the government program.

    The Prime Minister pointed out the referral of the Hilla Grand Sewerage project's second phase, after resolving obstacles from the first phase, ensuring that the executing company follows the scheduled timelines.

    Prime Minister Al-Sudani called on all attendees to ensure a conducive working environment for service companies and to complete infrastructure in cooperation with all service departments and agencies. This includes the completion of Sewerage, sanitation networks, water networks, and road preparations in parallel with the completion of sewage treatment project segments.
