Al-Bataween security plan implementation is crucial, according to Interior Minister

Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari emphasized on Thursday, the significance of accurately carrying out the security plan in the Al-Bataween neighborhood of the capital city of Baghdad. The operation's goal is to apprehend individuals who are wanted and those who have violated the law. 

The Iraqi News Agency (INA) obtained a statement from the Ministry of Interior stating that "the security operation will last several days" and that "there are great efforts made by the security agencies, the Baghdad Rusafa Operations Command, the Rusafa Police Command and other specialized departments, which participated in a wide security operation in Al-Bataween area of Baghdad."

 
The interior minister emphasized "the need to work according to the plans developed for the success of this operation, which aims to carry out raids and searches of the required targets as well as suspicious places accurately, as well as the arrest of wanted persons and violators." 
 
 The statement also stated that "the most significant accomplishments during the initial hours of the operation's implementation were briefed to the Minister of Interior by the commanders and officers present."
