The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zidan, discussed on Tuesday, with the head of Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service (ICTS), Lieutenant General Karim Abboud Al-Tamimi, coordination between the judiciary and the agency in arresting terrorists and trying them legally.
A statement of the Supreme Judicial Council, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that “The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zidan, received the Head of the Counter-Terrorism Service, Lieutenant General Karim Abboud Al-Tamimi.”
The statement added, "The two sides discussed coordination between the judiciary and the apparatus in arresting terrorists and trying them in accordance with the law."
