Rashid congratulates IMN on Iraqi National Television 68th anniversary

As he congratulated the Iraqi Media Network on Iraqi National TV's 68th anniversary of establishment on Thursday, President of the Republic Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid emphasized the importance of preserving freedom of speech while upholding the values of objectivity and professionalism. 

 "My warmest congratulations and blessings on the 68th anniversary of the founding of Iraqi National TV, one of the oldest media outlets in the region," wrote Rashid in a post on the X platform that the Iraqi News Agency (INA) followed .

"The role played by the Iraqi national media in serving the issues of the country and society" was praised by the president of the republic. 
 
 "The need to assume national responsibility in conveying facts and communicating the aspirations and demands of citizens," he emphasized, as well as "the consolidation of freedom of opinion and expression committed to the concepts of professionalism and objectivity."
