Iraq and Egypt stress the importance of immediately stopping the war on Palestine

The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, stressed today, Wednesday, the importance of immediately end the war and providing support and aid to the Palestinian people.
 
 
The Presidency of the Republic stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received a phone call from the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, and during the phone call, congratulations and blessings were exchanged on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, expressing their wishes to the Iraqi and Egyptian peoples for more prosperity and well-being.”
According to the statement "The relations between the two countries were also discussed, the developments they are witnessing at many levels were praised, and the importance of continuing to work to develop them in a way that achieves the common interests of the two brotherly peoples was emphasized. The phone call addressed the tragic conditions that the Palestinian people are suffering from as a result of the aggression against Gaza Strip, and it was emphasized the importance of immediately end the war, providing support and aid to the Palestinian people, and ensuring their full legitimate rights.”
