President Rashid, Sayyed Al-Hakim commend Al-Sudani government's advancement and level of service

    The head of the National Wisdom Movement, Sayyed Ammar Al-Hakim, and President of the Republic Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid praised the level of development and service provided by Prime Minister Mohamed Shia Al-Sudani's administration, and yet emphasized the importance of choosing a new speaker of parliament.


    "We met with President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid this evening, along with the independent Kurdish figure Hillo Ibrahim Ahmed. We talked about the political developments in Iraq and the surrounding region as well as the future entitlements. The President emphasized the importance of preserving the current political, social, and security stability, which is a result of the sacrifices and perseverance of Iraqis across all sectors," said Sayyed Al-Hakim in a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

     
    He went on, "We reaffirmed the call to support the government of Al-Sudani and praised its service and development level. We also emphasized that the government's service path reflected positively on the citizenry with the level of satisfaction with performance in general. We recalled the fatwa of jihad of Sayyid Al-Sistani on its tenth anniversary and showed its impact consolidating people and reversing the equation on terrorism in preparation for its defeat."  
     
    "We called on the sons of the Sunni component to agree on a candidate or elect one within the representatives of the component in parliament," he said, emphasizing the importance of selecting a new speaker for the parliament. 

    "We stressed again the ceasefire to avoid further escalation in the region, the need for relief for the displaced, and the reconstruction of the city," he continued, referring to the events in Gaza. "We stressed that what is happening is collapse in the system of values and rights and in the legal system for conflict management," he continued.
