The head of Hikma Movement, Sayyed Ammar al-Hakim, stressed on Wednesday, the importance of the Iraqi-Jordanian-Egyptian alliance, while calling for the completion of free zones and cooperation in the field of energy with Jordan.
The office of Sayyed Al-Hakim said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the head of Hikma Movement Sayyed Ammar Al-Hakim, received in his office the Jordanian Parliament Speaker Ahmed Al-Safadi and the Jordanian parliamentary delegation accompanying him," noting that "Sayyed Al-Hakim expressed his happiness with the visit and called on Al-Safadi to Repeating it to see the reality of Iraq and to maintain communication between the two countries at all levels."
Sayyed Al-Hakim emphasized "the depth of the relationship between Iraq and brotherly Jordan, due to the bonds enjoyed by the two countries at the social and geographical level and the common borders."
The need to invest in opportunities to develop relations.
Sayyed Al-Hakim called for "joint parliamentary cooperation and permanent committees between the two countries and the two legislative institutions, and the importance of popular diplomacy to dismantle negative impressions, if any," stressing "the importance of the Iraqi-Jordanian-Egyptian alliance, which aims to achieve the interests of the member states and not against anyone."
He called for "expanding the alliance and integrating roles between Iraq and Jordan in regional, Arab and international files," noting "the importance of political cooperation at the level of political parties ."
The statement stressed "the importance of strategic economic relations," calling for "completing free zones and cooperation in the field of energy."
The importance of Jordan's stability to Iraq and vice versa, as we previously indicated that the region needs stable and secure countries in order for everyone to enjoy safety and stability.
Jordan pays the price of its stances on the Palestinian cause and its Hashemite guardianship over the holy sites of Muslims and Christians in Al-Quds Al-Sharif.
Al-Hakim also called for "standing with Jordan to ease the burdens resulting from its stances on the Palestinian issue," appreciating "the Speaker of Parliament's invitation to us to visit the Kingdom and meet members of the Jordanian Parliament."
He referred to "the messages of the Gulf Championship 25 and how Iraq received its brothers and succeeded in moving forward with organizing the tournament," noting that Iraq is recovering and ending stages of security and political instability."
