Najaf Criminal Court sentences life imprisonment for drug dealer

Baghdad -INA 

The Najaf Criminal Court issued on Wednesday, life imprisonment sentences to a drug dealer.

 "The Najaf Criminal Court , issued a life sentence against a drug dealer who was caught in possession of approximately (kilogram) of amphetamine narcotic substance with trafficking intention, mediating its transfer and distribution among users” media center of The Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) .

" The sentence was issued based on the provisions of Article 28/I of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances law No. 50 of 2017" the statement added.
