Najaf Provincial Council votes for Hussein Al-Issawi as chairman

Najaf Provincial Council voted on Monday, on Hussein Wahid Abboud Al-Issawi as its chairman, and on Ghaith Sheba as the council vice-chairman.

The reporter of the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said that "Najaf Provincial Council held its first session, headed by the eldest member Hussein Al-Issawi and the presence of 14 members out of 15 members".

"The council elected Hussein Wahid Abboud Al-Issawi as its chairman unanimously, and Ghaith Sheba as vice-chairman of the council by nine votes," he added.
