Al-Issawi reveals the details of the representatives of the blocs with Allawi

    Member of Parliament, Abboud Al-Issawi, announced the details of a meeting of a group of deputies with Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi, while revealing the features of the ministerial program of the Allawi government.

    Al-Issawi said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "a group of deputies from different blocs met with Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi, to know his view of the country's administration and the possibility of implementing his government program during the coming period," noting that "the MPs asked several questions Allawi related to the prestige of the state and security, as well as the rights of the martyrs of the demonstrations and the wounded, in addition to economic issues, and the fight against rampant corruption, as well as the mechanism for choosing the cabinet.

    Al-Issawi explained that "the political blocs gave Allawi the authority to choose his government cabinet freely, provided that it is chosen according to his experience and communication with independent and impartial personalities.

    He continued, "The deputies also asked Allawi to communicate with the relevant committees, monthly or weekly," noting that "Allawi promised to form advisory departments affiliated with the Prime Minister's Office to supervise the ministries and monitor the implementation of the government program."

    He pointed out that "Allawi also promised to open offices in the governorates that represent the Prime Minister's Office in order to follow the role of the governorates and state departments and communicate with demonstrators and groups of society from clans, academics and unions to follow the concerns and demands of people," noting that "there is an intention to involve representatives of the demonstrators in these offices to follow up Work and extent of implementation of the government program. "
