Mohamed Al-Saaedi, the lawyer representing the Prime Minister, announced on Monday that pardoning political analyst Mohamed Nana'a was a decision made by Prime Minister Mohamed Shia Al-Sudani.
After political analyst Mohammed Nana'a apologised for the personal abuse contained in some of his writings, Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani decided to forgive him, Al-Saaedi told the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
He said, "Political analyst Mohamed Nana'a apologised and could not produce any proof for the charges he made against the prime minister."
