The head of the Counter-Terrorism Service, First Lieutenant-General Abdul-Wahhab Al-Saaedi, confirmed Sunday, that the doors of the Service are open to convey the expertise of urban warfare.
The Counter-Terrorism Service said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "The First Lieutenant General Abdul-Wahhab Al-Saaedi received today the Ambassador of the Polish Republic in Iraq Marcin Kubiak, who was accompanied by the military attache at the headquarters of the Counter-Terrorism Service."
The Polish ambassador to the head of the Counter-Terrorism Service confirmed that "the Republic of Poland expresses its great admiration for the forces of the Counter-Terrorism Service and how they succeeded in achieving successive victories over terrorism in Iraq," expressing his country's readiness "to continue the support it provides to the Iraqi forces at the level of advice and training."
He stressed that "there is a wide exchange of experiences and tactics between the two sides."
For his part, the head of the Counter-Terrorism Service First Lieutenant-General Abdul-Wahhab Al-Saaedi reviewed the most prominent achievements made by the forces of the Counter-Terrorism Service in their war against terrorist groups, stressing that "the doors of the Service are open to countries of the world to transfer expertise, experience, and military approaches related to urban warfare and others."
