A drug trafficking network in Baghdad was arrested, according to a statement released on Thursday by the Ministry of Interior's General Directorate of Narcotics Affairs.
"Under the supervision of Interior Minister Abdul Amir al-Shammari and with a qualitative operation with intelligence depth, the Directorate General of Narcotics Affairs was able to arrest a drug trafficking network in Baghdad Rusafa," according to the statement of the Directorate that the Iraqi News Agency (INA) obtained.
"The network comprises four accused in possession of four kilograms of the narcotic crystal substance, they were arrested red handed," the statement read.
