The Joint Judicial Committee for Combating Terrorism held its second meeting in Tehran on Wednesday.
A statement from the Supreme Judicial Council received by the Iraqi News Agency INA said that "the second meeting of the Joint Judicial Committee to combat terrorism was held under the chairmanship of the chairman of the judicial supervision commission, Laith Jabr Hamza, and in the presence of the assistant to the head of the judicial authority in the Islamic Republic, Kazem Gharib Abadi.
"During the meeting held in the Iranian capital Tehran, a number of topics related to legal and judicial cooperation were discussed, in addition to the exchange of experiences and information in the fight against terrorism, organized crime and drug trafficking, and the identification of specialized courts to consider commercial cases of citizens of both countries," the statement explained.
