JOC announces the killing of four terrorists in a ambush in the Nineveh

The Joint Operations Command (JOC) announced today, Saturday, the killing of four terrorists in a precise ambush in the Nineveh Operations Sector.

The Operations Command stated in a statement to the Security Media Cell received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “under the supervision and follow-up of the Joint Operations Command, a qualitative and fruitful effort led by the ground forces, field work by the Nineveh Operations units, a distinguished effort by the Military Intelligence Directorate, and a precise intelligence operation, after monitoring a group of terrorists with thermal cameras in Makhmour sector within the Nineveh Operations Command sector, specifically in the village of Ali Rasht, and immediately a precise ambush was set up by the men of the 14th Division, and they clashed with them and besieged them in one of the abandoned houses."

The statement added, "The security operation resulted in the killing of four terrorists, including two wearing explosive belts, and a group of weapons and equipment in their possession was seized."
